Dr. Talissa Oliveira Generoso
Dr. Talissa Oliveira Generoso graduated in Medicine at the Federal University of Sao Carlos, Brazil (2011-2017). From September 2014 to September 2015, she studied Sports and Exercise Sciences at the University of Birmingham, UK. In 2018, she worked as a doctor in the Brazilian Navy – Hospital Assistance Ship “Carlos Chagas”, providing medical assistance to the Amazonic riverine communities. From 2019 to 2022, Talissa Generoso did her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, and from March 2022 to February 2023, she did a Fellowship in Pediatrics Orthopaedics in the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. Talissa has been selected for the Jorge Paulo Lemann Scholarship in Biomechanics and Orthopedics (2023) under the RUSH-IBTS International Fellowship Program, granted by the Instituto Brasil de Tecnologias da Saúde (IBTS), under the guidance of Dr. Leonardo Metsavaht and Dr. Jorge Chahla, and under the supervision of Dr. Brian Cole, Dr. Nikhil Verma, Dr. Shane Nho, Dr. David Kohl, and Prof. Dr. Gustavo Leporace.
Dr. Felipe Gonzalez
Dr. Felipe Gonzalez is an esteemed orthopedic surgeon with a rich educational background that spans prestigious institutions across Brazil and the United States, including Harvard University, Air Force, and Rush University. He earned his MD and subsequently pursued a Master Degree in Human Motion from the Federal University of São Paulo. Further honing his expertise, Dr. Gonzalez received specialized training in clinical research at Harvard University, finishing in the top 10% of his class, and completed a rigorous fellowship in Orthopedic Surgery and Biomechanics at Rush University Medical Center.
As a member of the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) and board-certified by the Brazilian Orthopedics and Traumatology Society (SBOT), Dr. Gonzalez is dedicated to his professional development and contributing to the broader medical community. Dr. Gonzalez’s passion for physical activity deeply influences his medical practice. An active CrossFit enthusiast, his interest complements his specialization in human motion, artificial intelligence, and sports injury prevention. This unique blend of interests and expertise has led to numerous publications and book chapters in the field, demonstrating his commitment to advancing orthopedic knowledge and practice. His achievements have been recognized with multiple awards in Brazil, Europe, and the United States. Dr. Gonzalez is excited to bring his unique approach to orthopedic diseases and human motion to Dr. Chahla’s practice and research team.
Dr. Lucas Pallone
Dr. Lucas Pallone is an orthopedic surgeon affiliated with Ribeirão Preto Medical School (University of São Paulo, Brazil), specializing in knee surgery and lower limb trauma. As an active member of the Brazilian Society of Knee Surgery (SBCJ) and the Brazilian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SBOT), he brings a wealth of experience in sports medicine, knee replacements, and orthopedic trauma. Alongside his role as an attending physician at the Department of Orthopedics and Anesthesiology at the Clinics Hospital of Ribeirão Preto, Dr. Pallone boasts a diverse background. His professional journey includes serving as a team physician for a professional soccer team in Brazil, as well as fulfilling responsibilities as a military physician. Currently, he holds esteemed positions as an International Research Scholar at Midwest Orthopedics at Rush (MOR) and an International Research Fellow at the Brazilian Institute of Health Technology (IBTS). Dr. Pallone’s research pursuits span a wide range, focusing on sports medicine, total and partial knee replacements, biomechanics, motion analysis, and orthobiologics.
