Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

From post-operative care to return-to-play, the use of orthopedic bracing can play an integral role in the recovery process.  The DME Store at Midwest Orthopaedics at RUSH is your home for all of the physician-recommended products that will make your recovery as seamless as possible.

The DME Store carries innovative products brought to you by a multitude of vendors, including Bauerfeind, Breg, Donjoy, and Ossur.  Additionally, the DME Store is staffed by Certified Athletic Trainers, making sure that you are properly fit and educated on all of the products that your physician has prescribed.  Based on the recommendation by your doctor, the DME Staff works diligently to provide patients with the items that best suit their needs throughout the recovery process.

Within the DME Store, patients can be measured and fit with Functional and Osteoarthritis knee bracing, can coordinate their post-operative bracing and cold therapy needs, and purchase items, such as Theraband, that will assist them throughout their continuum of care.  In working closely with local vendors, the DME Store can also coordinate the delivery of more specialized products that may not be carried within the store.
