Recovering from Frozen Shoulder Surgery
How long is the recovery after frozen shoulder surgery?
Initially following surgery, it is essential that you attend physical therapy immediately to help further progress the restoration of range of motion. If possible, you can even begin physical therapy on the day of surgery. Otherwise, we recommend beginning physical therapy the day after surgery and attending five times per week for at least the first 2 weeks following surgery. This initial short post-operative window is the peak opportunity to regain the most degrees of range of motion.
